Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Manager with a strong background in water treatment chemicals sales. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies, expanding market presence, and maintaining relationships with key clients in industrial, municipal, and commercial water treatment sectors.

 

Key Responsibilities:

                •             Develop and implement sales plans to achieve revenue and market share growth in the water treatment chemicals industry.

                •             Identify and pursue new business opportunities with industrial, municipal, and commercial clients.

                •             Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, distributors, and key stakeholders.

                •             Provide technical support and solutions to clients regarding water treatment chemicals applications.

                •             Conduct market research to understand customer needs, industry trends, and competitor activities.

                •             Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with clients to maximize profitability.

                •             Collaborate with the technical and operations teams to ensure customer satisfaction.

                •             Monitor sales performance, analyze data, and report on key sales metrics.

                •             Attend industry trade shows, conferences, and networking events to enhance brand visibility.

 

Qualifications & Experience:

                •             Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Environmental Science, Business, or a related field (preferred).

                •             Minimum 5 years of experience in sales of water treatment chemicals (boiler, cooling, wastewater treatment, etc.).

                •             Strong technical knowledge of water treatment processes and chemical applications.

                •             Proven track record of achieving sales targets and developing customer relationships.

                •             Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

                •             Ability to work independently and manage a sales territory effectively.

                •             Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.

                •             Willingness to travel as required.

 

Preferred Skills:

                •             Experience working with industrial clients such as power plants, food & beverage, oil & gas, manufacturing, and municipal water treatment plants.

                •             Knowledge of regulatory standards related to water treatment chemicals.

                •             Ability to analyze technical data and provide customer-specific solutions.
